I got the name of my surgeon and I did some research on him. I am SOOO freaking happy!!!! He is a Bariatric Surgeon WITH Pancreatic expertise!! I am so happy. I have never seen a Bariatric Dr EVER!!! I can ask him questions and when I can eat again I know that I will be on an appropriate diet. He also has a Bariatric Nut on his team. I am FINALLY pleased that I will have a Dr who will be able to help me AND knows my anatomy!!
My Date is March 25th. I have 16 days left to go thru this crap. I have been feeling horrible the last 2 days. Holding NOTHING down and just in pain and very nauseated. It is nice to know my date. I have some meals already planned while I am gone. I will be an hour away for approx 3-4 days. I am expecting 4-5 days tho for some reason.
I will be taking some magazines, maybe my laptop, phone, charger, some pro shakes, chapstick and my pillow, and the obvious clothing and sox.
I was also told not to eat for 6 hours pre op. I think the scheduler was not thinking I am having a scope not surgery. That is what she has seen in the computer with me before. I had to make a few calls to light a match under the 2 offices to get going on my date.
Just wanted to share with you all. I am thrilled!!
