Hi there

Well I kinda forgot I had a blog. Hey I am new at this. Since my last post I have had the option to be re admitted into Evans (The Army hosp here). I chose no. They would have put a tube in my nose and NPO til my labs were better.

I got a call today. My labs are down 7pts from a week ago. But the rest are still elevated. Last Wed I got a call from University Hospital in Denver. I have a pre op appt on the 3rd of March. 2 appts actually. #1 is to actually MEET my Dr. His name is Raj Shah. I am guessing he is not white lol. The second one is to meet with anest. I find it odd that I have not even met this man and I am already on his surgery list. I am scheduled for March 9th.

The "procedure" is called an ERCP. A tube down the throat and pass the stomach intestines liver and into the pancreas where he will (hopefully) be able to remove the blockage in my Duct. I suppose this Dr has the tools to do this. Not many can do this surgery with my altered anatomy. If he can not see to do what he needs to do I will have a lap procedure and the recovery is much longer.
